August /September ASB Formal Report
Name: Isabella DiGiulio
Position: Technology Commissioner
Date: 10/02/20
Position Assessment: The first task given thus far has been videos for Club Rush, which my partner in technology has been focusing on. The other task given was week three of envolve, which I mostly tackled. I made zoom backgrounds and phone wallpapers for the school. Each class had a design as well as a school wide one. Fall Fest is coming up soon, which I know I will be needed for.
Professional Development: One of the main things that have helped me work on professional development is our journal and book study. Both give me time to self reflect and improve on myself. For the book study, the lessons it teaches me will be especially valuable after high school. We have also begun preparations for mock interviews, which I believe will be extremely helpful.
Concerns/ Change: My biggest concern right now is communication, mainly because we are distance learning and not in the classroom. I know it is something I have to work on as well, and is an unexpected adjustment for everyone.
Positive Comment: I would like to acknowledge the senior class officers for their work on senior sunrise. I thought it was really well advertised and done.
My Impact: It’s difficult to make an impact when we’re not on campus, as it’s harder to connect in general. I would say through Link Crew I am trying to connect and get to know the freshmen. I can’t imagine how daunting it would be to have your first year of high school online.

October / November ASB Formal Report
Name: Isabella DiGiulio
Position: Technology Commissioner
Date: 12/3/20
Position Assessment: Fall Fest was the first thing we tackled. We helped out with candidate reveals, filming them. During the Fall Fest drive thru, we were taught how to use the sound system and were in charge of music. For Dude Be Nice, Derek took on the Gratitude video. On the day of the event we were in charge of the sound system.
Professional Development: I feel so far the journal and other short lessons and assignments about self have been the largest contributing factor to professional development. Being active in events like Fall Fest have also helped, as we worked in small groups. Though, I feel a lot more professional development is soon to come with our public speaking speech and mock interviews.
Concerns/ Change: My only concern is communication. There isn’t a problem with communication when I need to know when things are due or any other day to day stuff. I found that it was mainly during events.
Positive Comment: I would love to commend Brenden for teaching and helping Derek and I with the sound system. He did an excellent job at explaining how everything was set up and works.
My Impact: As we have begun to start school in person, I’ve been trying to be extra positive for others around me. As a part of Link Crew, I hope I appeared friendly and approachable to any freshmen who were nervous. I also have been and always will be completely eager to help out anyway needed; all I need is for someone to ask me for help and I will.

February / March ASB Formal Report
Name: Isabella DiGiulio
Position: Technology Commissioner
Date: 3/18/21
Position Assessment: There hasn’t been much required of technology during the month of February. However, we are preparing for Homecoming, as it quickly approaches. The main focus, preparation wise, is the Fashion Show Video.
Professional Development: Professionalism has been a large focus in the past few months. We had our public speaking speeches, which allowed me to work on a skill that I feel am lacking in. We also have completed our cover letters and resumes and published them to our websites for mock interviews. This has been the most beneficial to me, as I have struggled in the past with writing a resume. I’ve already applied the knowledge learned to the “real world”.
Concerns / Change: I don’t have any major concerns. If I have to put something down, I would suggest that we begin to clean up a bit later. I understand that we want to ensure we have plenty of time to do so, but almost every time we have enough time and just stand around for a few minutes.
Positive Comment: I’d like to acknowledge the senior officers for their phenomenal work so far on homecoming. Each year they come up with some of the most creative ideas and are able to pull it off.
My Impact: I’ve noticed how stressful this year has been for teachers. Some are now especially busy as sports are starting up again. Therefore, I’ve been trying to be a more than excellent student and not add any more stress to their day.
